From the site: "We are pleased to announce that the Generator School Network has re-launched with many new and enhanced features, including the integration of the National Service-Learning Clearinghouse. With a membership of over 3,200 from across the country and around the world, the GSN is the premiere service-learning resource for both youth and adults who are looking to learn, plan, and connect.
“We are excited to re-launch the GSN with new features that make it easier for our members to find and share information,” said Lana Peterson, NYLC Professional Development Manager in charge of the GSN. “It is our goal to ensure the GSN remains a valuable tool for our members and to anyone interested in service-learning.”
NYLC took over the resources within the National Service-Learning Clearinghouse in December of 2013 from the Corporation for National and Community Service after budget cuts threatened to shut down the site. Now fully integrated into the GSN, The Clearinghouse offers thousands of free online resources for K-12, higher education, community-based organizations and tribal communities, and is the nation’s largest library of service-learning research, data, tools, and materials. To access the Clearinghouse you will not have to join the GSN but you will need to join in order to share or contribute to the site.
Users will also notice an updated look and feel for the site, as well as the fact that not every page requires a log-in."
